Marley set to sing at Int’l Art and Culture Festival in Famagusta

Julian will sing at art and culture festival In Famagusta, Northern Cyprus.

Julian Marley, the son of the legendary reggae musician Bob Marley, will perform at the 20th International Art and Culture Festival on July 13 in Famagusta, Northern Cyprus.

Julian Marley is an accomplished musician and one of Bob Marley’s sons. He started his career in the early 90’s. Also, he is the  co-founder of Ghetto Youth International, a non-profit record label that helps underprivileged youths to build a career in music industry. The organization exclusively focuses on educational and charitable efforts.


The festival will also feature other international artistes like; Lara Fabian, Boney M., Goran Bregovich, Apocalyptica and Belarussian Ballet Company. Famous regional artistes like Sertab Erener and Nilufer also participate in festival. Famagusta, Northern Cyprus is an almost ideal location for this festival because it is steeped in ancient and modern art and culture. This festival promies to be an eclectic experience with different flavours of classical, jazz, reggae, rock, hip-hop, ethnic and pop music. It will emphasize the diversity of the historical heritage of the island. It will also allows new talent to share the stage with the masters of their genres.


The festival will also host theater performances and the plastic arts events. These will take place at the Othello castle and the Salamis amphitheater. All in all, the International Art and Culture Festival in Famagusta promises to be a fantastic event and will showcase Famagusta as the cultural center of Northern Cyprus.
